So, ready for some cute little combo products? Well, we got 2 for today, a bear and a gnome; so, here we go with the first one..
Just look at the bear, huh?! So nice to squeeze.. Hah! But it’s not for squeezing though what with a belly full of screwdrivers. Six different types to be exact: 2 Phillips, 2 Slotted and 2 Hex and Rachet tools.
Like it? Well, the Papa Bear Screwdrivers could even be split into 3: head, torso and toes. Just be careful, your kids might play with them.
Now, here comes the gnomes.. Wait! It’s a trowel and garden fork!
How cute, eh?! With a built-in cutting blade, it helps in digging, weeding and flower pot gardening. Just remember, it’s specifically designed and sized (10 x 4 x 16.5 cm each) for indoors.. Obviously.
So, with the Herberts Gardening Companions, you got another set of decors! Ehem.. tools.
Though our tastes vary, we all need to eat and drink; and so, creating products that could make life a little more easier and enjoyable when it comes to ‘food and drinks’ would certainly be welcome especially to many housewives who generally makes the kitchen their sanctuary..
Hmm… do you love grilled food? Then, obviously, this is spatula is perfect for you. The Grill Light – Spatula is an ‘ingenious grilling tool that incorporates high power LED lighting into a restaurant grade stainless steel frame’ for a stylish look and quality feel. Wow, so, no more grilling in the dark!
Ohhh.. don’t you think this mug with just a ‘simple’, yes, ‘simple covert message’ is worth buying? If ‘you’ve been poisoned’, would the culprit still have time to joke around? My, sorry but this is just corny. And it’s even too expensive!
With space becoming a prime commodity these days, it would certainly pay to have furnishings that occupy little space or could at least be folded to maximize one’s area — yet are still as attractive and creative as they could be. And that’s what we would be featuring for today, folding combo products..
First up, the Ottoman Bed. Yup, it’s an Ottoman that actually folds out into a 75″ steel-framed bed that supports up to 250 pounds. It maybe a little expensive but it’s just right for those who lives in a small space yet could accommodate some guests.
Hmm… just love the make (solid mango wood with a wax finish and blackened steel legs) of this Industrial Storage Coffee Table, the wood is thick and nicely cut. It looks solid and real sturdy yet not without its appeal. The Indians must be proud to have been part of its creation.
Lastly, a bookcase that also features a fold-down table and bed. The bookcase is said to be a complete package as it includes a mattress and a dining table that can be hidden. The shelf can blend into a library, cabinetry or be a bookshelf of its own..
Meanwhile, the large dinner table smoothly conceals itself when not needed and the shelving has plenty of vertical storage to keep your home organized. Let’s check out the measurements..
For the Shelf: Depth 8.86″, Vertical shelf spacing 12.8″ apart, Lowest shelf vertical spacing 22.44″
And with a few simple twists and turns, your books and possessions are hidden away, and you are ready to lower your bed for a good nights sleep. The Revolving Wall Bed details: Height 86.7″, Depth incl. shelves 21.65″, Length with bed open 96.85″, Width 71.23″
Well, you might say it’s steeply-priced at over 6 thousand USD but then again, this Italian rotating wall bed is a bedroom, dining room and vertical storage unit all combined into a easy and neat package. So, with the ‘creativity’ and all, it’s really worth it..
How ’bout some cool little combo products for this week? C’mon..
A pocket knife just inside a peanut necklace. Simple concept yet imagine the uses a small knife could bring; and since it’s in your peanut necklace, this knife really comes in handy..
Here’s another sneaky combo product from Etsy. Yup, a super sneaky belt buckle at that; one where you could place important things like keys, notes and stuff. Two downsides though, it doesn’t really look appealing for a ‘pricey’ belt buckle and, it’s unavailable at the moment.. Ughh!
Well, at least many are now aware of such a product. Right.
A pair of cuff links that are ‘lighters’ as well. Stylishly 007, huh? Just less than an inch in size, who would think that your cuff links could actually light up a cigarette or even start a fire?!
Cool product indeed from Cool Materials. Just make sure you take those cuff links off before lighting up something.
For this week, here are some simple yet useful combo products that are worth having at home..
A timer in a toothbrush holder. We know kids to be ‘in a hurry’ when it comes to brushing their teeth but then, having a timer around would help train them be more mindful on the importance of brushing..
A pencil that grows into a plant. This combo product is real interesting. Imagine??! A pencil that turns into a plant!! Just wonder how big the plant would grow, and how long it could live though..
A strainer-bowl. Always thought of having such a bowl where you won’t need to tilt it and risk spilling its contents — just to strain it.
Now, we got a wonderful creation. Just wished t’was cheaper. Hah!
Here we are again for this week as we feature some unessential combo products that should have just stayed ‘single’. Yup. Right.
A scarf with a hidden flask. It may not be bulgy or heavy but imagine the fuss around your neck, you know, that ‘dangling’ little bottle. Not to mention the question of the beverage’s ‘freshness’.
A perfume bottle that can be used as a pincushion. Since you got to finish the perfume first before you could use it as a pincushion, it makes the product ‘cheap’ and really needless to purchase. Got the point?
A trowel that doubles as a bottle opener. Though it’s nice to look at.. don’t you think it would just ‘dirty’ the bottle? You know, you use the trowel in your garden then with a sudden thirst, you’d use it as a bottle opener?
While some of the products may sound appealing, well, it’s kinda expensive for something that requires ‘more’ convincing..
For this issue, let’s see some combo products molded into planters which is close to ‘useless’ or at the very least, unnecessary.
A planter that you could wear as a necklace. This is sort of O.A. but if one only wants some ‘uniqueness’ then understand that many of us could be thinking of such as well.. making it ‘no longer’ unique.
A planter that doubles as a grill. In this case, you would just have to keep ‘switching’ the plant and the food, back and forth. Imagine the trouble then. Yet if it’s okay with you then have fun.. at a price.
A planter you can use as a desk. For one, you got to be careful when newly watered as it might wet your laptop. Two, how much weight could the planter actually handle? Like what if you ‘accidentally’ put your weight on it while thinking or something?
Planters are nice to have but molding them into combo products should be well-thought of.. Any ideas?
