For this week, here are some simple yet useful combo products that are worth having at home..

A timer in a toothbrush holder. We know kids to be ‘in a hurry’ when it comes to brushing their teeth but then, having a timer around would help train them be more mindful on the importance of brushing..

A pencil that grows into a plant. This combo product is real interesting. Imagine??! A pencil that turns into a plant!! Just wonder how big the plant would grow, and how long it could live though..

A strainer-bowl. Always thought of having such a bowl where you won’t need to tilt it and risk spilling its contents — just to strain it.

Now, we got a wonderful creation. Just wished t’was cheaper. Hah!

Product Review: Some Unnecessary Combo Products

Here we are again for this week as we feature some unessential combo products that should have just stayed ‘single’. Yup. Right.

A scarf with a hidden flask. It may not be bulgy or heavy but imagine the fuss around your neck, you know, that ‘dangling’ little bottle. Not to mention the question of the beverage’s ‘freshness’.

A perfume bottle that can be used as a pincushion. Since you got to finish the perfume first before you could use it as a pincushion, it makes the product ‘cheap’ and really needless to purchase. Got the point?

A trowel that doubles as a bottle opener. Though it’s nice to look at.. don’t you think it would just ‘dirty’ the bottle? You know, you use the trowel in your garden then with a sudden thirst, you’d use it as a bottle opener?

While some of the products may sound appealing, well, it’s kinda expensive for something that requires ‘more’ convincing..

Product Review: Unnecessary Planters

For this issue, let’s see some combo products molded into planters which is close to ‘useless’ or at the very least, unnecessary.

$30 at Etsy.com

A planter that you could wear as a necklace. This is┬ásort of O.A. but if one only wants some ‘uniqueness’ then understand that many of us could be thinking of such as well.. making it ‘no longer’ unique.

A planter that doubles as a grill. In this case, you would just have to keep ‘switching’ the plant and the food, back and forth. Imagine the trouble then. Yet if it’s okay with you then have fun.. at a price.

$139.20 at balkonzept.de

A planter you can use as a desk. For one, you got to be careful when newly watered as it might wet your laptop. Two, how much weight could the planter actually handle? Like what if you ‘accidentally’ put your weight on it while thinking or something?

Planters are nice to have but molding them into combo products should be well-thought of.. Any ideas?

Product Review: Kamp-Rite Tent Cot

Probably you’ve noticed this product at Facebook as we did many weeks ago; and we’re talking of no other than a cot that doubles as a one-man tent, the Kamp-Rite Tent Cot..

tentWell, while the cot keeps you 11 inches above the ground, just wonder where we could place all our stuff? ‘Cause in regular tents, we could put them inside as well..

tent3Still, with its light weight aluminum frame supporting up to 300 pounds, and folds down to 33″ x 30″ x 6″ — it’s a good buy at $139.99.

Product Review: Scissortape

Our combo product for the day may seem simple but it’s definitely handy..
image

The scissortape. As we can see, it’s useful for gift and book wrapping; yes, for art projects and similar crafts as well..
image

The tape dispenser’s just neatly built into the scissor handle that you won’t be searching for your tape anymore. Wow!
image

Unfortunately, as of press time, Amazon ran out stocks. Oh, can’t be thinking of raising the $16.49 price though..

It maybe cute but it’s already pretty high for such a product.

Product Review: Avo Shark

Our featured multi tool product may particularly be just for avocados, but knowing the fruit, it does have several steps in making guacamole..

So, Australian Paul English brings you the Avo Shark.

image

From cutting to de-pitting to scooping to slicing to mashing – the Avo Shark does it all except feed you.. Wow!

image

Just take a look at it. Cool, huh?!

Well, it includes a built-in scoop, slotted masher, protective sheath, and it’s even dishwasher safe..

And for just $18.95 at thegrommet.com, you’ll surely love eating avocados even more.

Product Review: Bison Designs Kool Tool Belt

Now, how about a ‘belt buckle’ that strips wire, unscrew things, opens bottles and take measurements? Cool, isn’t it? Reminds us of MacGyver, or even ‘Inspector Gadget’. Just the kind of product we need, multipurpose..

And we’re talking about no other than the Bison Designs Kool Tool Belt from laststandtactical.com…

image

Oh, just look at ’em belt! Wow, it’s like having so many gears!

The Cr13-steel buckle is secured to a black 44mm ribbed webbing. The buckle features 3 wire strippers in varying sizes, large and small flat head screwdrivers, a Phillips head, bottle opener, S.A.E. hex tool, standard and metric ruler, and metric hex tool.

image

Indeed, it’s not just a ‘good looking’ belt but an awesome tool! Surely, with all those features, it’s simply a great one to have..

And for only $25, this fantastic combo product could be yours for the taking.
